Easy Lime Cilantro Vinaigrette & Marinade

Lime and cilantro are a perfect pair when topping a salad, marinating some chicken, or flavoring some rice. This versatile recipe works for almost anything and is super easy to whip up.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup finely chopped fresh cilantro leaves
  • ½ cup light olive oil or any neutral salad oil you prefer
  • 3 tablespoons freshly-squeezed lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of kosher salt
  • ½ dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper or to taste

Instructions
 

  • Measure ingredients into a mason jar. Shake until well-mixed and emulsified. Taste and adjust seasonings, adding more salt and pepper if necessary. (If you don't have a mason jar or dressing shaker, whisk the ingredients together in a bowl.)
  • Store dressing in the refrigerator.
