Put frozen avocado in a bowl and cover with lukewarm water and stir around. This process helps remove some of the ascorbic acid that was added to the avocado before it was frozen.
Drain the water off and cover with a towel and allow to thaw for at least an hour at room temperature.
Using a fork, mash the avocado pieces into a chunky paste. If you like a smoother guac, a food processor works great.
Add salsa, salt, and lemon juice and stir with a fork until desired consistency and texture is how you prefer it.
